Hello,

I’m Sam, founder and architect behind Innovate Architectural Studios.

I support homeowners and small commercial clients through some of the most important decisions they’ll make about their property. From extensions and refurbishments to new builds, these projects involve important decisions around design, investment, and delivery - often ones people make only once or twice in a lifetime.

My role isn’t just to design something that looks good. It’s to help you understand what you’re stepping into, see your options clearly, and avoid the kinds of mistakes that lead to delays, stress and unnecessary expense.

Over the past decade I’ve worked on everything from small domestic alterations to complex listed buildings and commercial spaces. That experience has taught me that the biggest challenges aren’t usually creative. They’re about coordination, approvals, budgets and having the right information at the right time.

I take a collaborative, down-to-earth approach. You bring the priorities, the way you live and the ambitions for your space. I bring the technical knowledge, regulatory understanding and design discipline needed to turn that into something that can actually be built, safely and responsibly.

The aim is always the same: a project that runs more smoothly, costs what you expect it to, and delivers a space that genuinely works for you.

And if you’re wondering who’s often next to me, that’s Gus, my nine-year-old pug. He has no interest in building regulations, but he is an expert in naps, morale and reminding me to step away from the screen now and then. If nothing else, he keeps the studio grounded.

If this approach feels right for you, you’re welcome to get in touch to discuss your project here.
